Understanding the Catalytic Deactivation upon Hydrothermal Aging at 850 °C of WO3/Fe-Cu-ZSM-5 Catalyst for Selective Catalytic Reduction of NO by NH3

A WO3/Fe-Cu-ZSM-5 catalyst was prepared using the solid state ion exchange method (SSIE) and its performance for Selective Catalytic Reduction of NO with NH3 (NH3-SCR NO) investigated. The study shows that tungsten addition can slightly improve high temperature catalytic activity Fe-Cu-ZSM-5. influence hydrothermal aging at 850 °C 5 h on structural textural properties also studied in this paper. XRD FE-SEM measurements did not indicate a breakdown zeolite structure upon steam treatment both aged catalysts. W-base demonstrates lower deactivation better reduction than bimetallic after despite acidic as shown by FTIR-Pyr spectroscopy owing to presence oxide crystallites. “severe” stage occurring absence W led formation copper agglomerates detected STEM H2-TPR techniques being responsible deterioration SCR
